Job Description

Red Lobster is a renowned family-owned restaurant chain with over fifty years of history and more than 500 locations. The company has grown from a single visionary establishment into a beloved seafood dining experience that connects guests to the coast and its flavors. At Red Lobster, each restaurant seat is an extension of the founding passion to create memorable meals and moments for families and communities, making it much more than just a place to eat or work. The brand takes pride in building a welcoming atmosphere where new friends easily become familiar faces. Red Lobster's commitment to community involvement and hospitality excellence makes it a standout choice for employment in the restaurant industry.

The Server role at Red Lobster is designed for individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and creating positive dining experiences. As a Server, you will be the face of the restaurant, greeting guests warmly and providing attentive, prompt service throughout their visit. Your role encompasses everything from suggestive selling of drinks, appetizers, and desserts, to efficiently taking accurate food and drink orders and managing those orders through the point of sale (POS) system. Timely delivery of food and drinks, continuous guest check-ins, and maintaining an inviting table environment are key responsibilities. Beyond service, Servers are expected to uphold all food safety standards and contribute to a clean, safe dining environment.

Working at Red Lobster offers numerous benefits, including competitive wages with weekly pay, flexible scheduling to accommodate various lifestyles, and affordable medical, dental, and vision insurance options starting at less than $10 per week. Employees can also access life insurance, short-term disability, and voluntary benefits. After one year of service, team members become eligible for a 401(k) retirement savings plan with company matching contributions. Red Lobster recognizes dedication through anniversary pay programs and provides a 25 percent discount on meals when dining as a guest, in addition to discounted shift meals.

Career growth and development are strongly encouraged, with training and advancement opportunities available within the company. Red Lobster is invested in the success and satisfaction of its team members, making it an excellent place for those seeking to build a long-term career in hospitality. The company fosters a team-oriented environment where attention to detail and multi-tasking skills are valued. Physically, the role requires the ability to safely lift up to 30 pounds, move about the restaurant for extended periods, and maintain energy throughout 8 to 12 hour shifts. All employees must meet the minimum age and legal work authorization requirements.

Red Lobster emphasizes inclusivity and equal employment opportunities, welcoming applicants from diverse backgrounds and ensuring a workplace free of discrimination based on age, race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, or veteran status. The future holds exciting growth for Red Lobster, making now an excellent time to join the team and be part of its ongoing success.
