The Server role is pivotal in our event operations, where you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to guests throughout the duration of events. Job Duties
- Set up tables, chairs, linens and other equipment according to the event specifications
- arranging place settings and ensuring all necessary utensils and glassware are available
- preparing condiments, garnishes and other items as needed
- greeting guests warmly as they arrive
- escorting them to their seats if needed
- taking food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
- serving meals promptly and courteously, ensuring the accuracy in delivering the correct dishes to the right guests
- attending to special dietary requests or allergies and ensuring they are communicated to the kitchen staff
- monitoring beverage levels and replenishing as needed
- clearing tables and cleaning up after guests, removing dishes and glassware promptly
- providing attentive and friendly service to guests, addressing any questions or concerns they may have
- anticipating guests’ needs and proactively offering assistance
- handling guest needs or issues professionally and seeking assistance from supervisors as needed
- maintaining a positive and professional demeanor at all times, even during busy or challenging situations
- collaborating with other servers, bartenders and kitchen staff to ensure seamless coordination of service
- assisting with clean up and breakdown of event spaces after the event concludes
- performing any other tasks assigned by leadership
