Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
0-2 years of experience in a customer service or restaurant role
ability to stand and walk for long periods during shifts
capability to lift, carry, and transfer up to 50 pounds
ability to bend, stoop, and reach with hands
effective verbal communication skills
ability to use close, distance, color, peripheral vision and depth perception
dependability and strong teamwork skills
must comply with safety and sanitation procedures
ability to work flexible hours within the restaurant's scheduling framework

Job Qualifications

Excellent guest service skills and experience
ability to identify and resolve issues as they arise
detail oriented with the ability to multitask
good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize
proficient computer skills including POS system knowledge
0-2 years related experience
strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant setting
ability to work effectively as part of a team

Job Duties

Take guest orders using menu knowledge and situational selling techniques
serve food and beverages promptly ensuring all items meet company standards
communicate professionally with guests to determine needs and assist with menu selections
inform guests about new promotions and product information
demonstrate knowledge of menu items by accurately describing food
input orders accurately into POS system
pre-bus tables and assist with side work as required
practice safe food and beverage handling and maintain cleanliness
safely operate food prep equipment such as knives and coffee maker
effectively handle guest complaints and involve management when appropriate
manage guest interactions and handle crowds to ensure a pleasant dining experience
assist in other job categories as needed
perform all other duties as assigned
