This full-time or part-time role involves greeting customers, taking their orders, and delivering food and beverages promptly while ensuring a friendly and upbeat atmosphere. Servers will be trained to follow Applebee's Ten Basic Service Steps to maintain consistent, high-quality service aligned with the brand's standards. The role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting, and a genuine desire to meet and exceed customer expectations. Responsibilities include delivering food and drinks using the restaurant's team delivery system, answering guest questions and making informed suggestions, accurately relaying orders to the kitchen and service bar through an electronic point-of-sale system, and managing payment transactions efficiently and courteously. Servers will also assist with dining room upkeep, including clearing and resetting tables, cleaning table surfaces and booths, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the restaurant.

This physically active job entails moving about the restaurant consistently during shifts, transporting plates, glasses, and baskets between various stations multiple times daily. Basic math, reading, writing, and verbal communication skills are essential to successfully carry out tasks and provide excellent customer service.
