Pastini Eugene is currently seeking Servers to join their dynamic and friendly team. Job Requirements
- Must be able to work a variety of scheduled shifts, based on the needs of restaurant volume (example: late hours, holidays, weekends, etc.)
- must work well in a fast paced environment
- must work well under pressure
- must attend all staff meetings as scheduled by management
- must be able to see, speak and hear customers and coworkers effectively in a noisy, crowded environment
- will be scheduled to work server shifts and will also be scheduled to work host/expo shifts on a regular basis
- when working a host/expo shift, server will be paid the host wage and receive a portion of the tip pool which includes take-out tips and the server tip-out
Job Qualifications
- Is able to obtain valid food handler's card and valid OLCC servers permit
- demonstrates and practices consistent, effective and proper hand-washing techniques as outlined by government health department agency and as directed by management

- able to accurately perform basic mathematics
- able to arrive to work on time, ready to start a scheduled shift
- displays a basic knowledge of restaurant operations
- displays a friendly, professional, and helpful attitude towards coworkers and management at all times
- ability to accurately count and track all multiple transactions and all receipts including all cash, credit cards, checks, paid outs, gift cards/certificates, coupons, promotional material and any other related forms of payment or transaction records with no errors
- ability to use Micros POS system quickly, accurately while following all house protocols for entering and charging guests/staff appropriately and correctly
- demonstrates good time-management skills by completing all tasks in a timely manner
- must be able to explain and demonstrate that he/she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation
Job Duties
- Consistently arrives to work as scheduled, prepared to assume shift responsibilities
- consistently arrives to work well-groomed and in proper uniform
- section is ready at assigned time
- is aware of specials, soups, etc. prior to greeting their first table
- greets each table in a timely manner, in accordance with company policy
- takes all food and beverage orders, according to company policy
- accurately sends all orders to the kitchen, in a timely manner, with no errors
- consistently hand-clears service items and runs beverages and food for assigned tables as well as other servers sections or as directed by management
- delivers guest checks and comment cards in a timely manner and promptly returns payment for assigned tables as well as other server sections or as directed by management
- ensures each guest is taken care of until they leave the restaurant
- assists the expeditor, as needed by running food
- follows all company accounting policies and procedures regarding cash, checks, and credit card transactions
- complies with, and supports, all policies and procedures set forth by all employee handbooks and the departmental training manual
- willingly, and with a positive attitude, follows direction of all management, including additional requests for sidework, cleaning, etc.
- complies with all required break policy as is outlined by BOLI and as directed by management
