The Server role at Northgate Resorts is essential to maintaining the outstanding customer experiences for which the resorts are known. This position primarily involves welcoming guests, guiding them to their seats, taking detailed food and drink orders, and ensuring both timely delivery and adherence to quality and safety standards. Servers work closely with the kitchen and service teams to ensure a seamless dining experience, paying close attention to guest needs and promptly handling any concerns or complaints. Given the seasonal nature of this role, candidates have the opportunity to work full-time or part-time, allowing flexibility to fit varying schedules. Reporting directly to the Food Service Manager, Servers serve as the frontline ambassadors of the resort’s hospitality values. Their responsibilities extend beyond order taking to include assisting with takeout preparations and collaborating with team members to uphold hygienic, sanitary, and operational protocols. This role demands a positive and engaging personality combined with a strong work ethic, outstanding communication skills, and the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment. As community-facing employees, Servers are expected to maintain a professional appearance and contribute positively to a vibrant work atmosphere that enhances the overall guest experience. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • state food handler’s certification required
  • two years of experience as waitstaff or similar role preferred
  • knowledge of cash register and ordering information systems
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • ability to work in warm temperatures

Job Qualifications

  • Two years of experience as waitstaff or similar role preferred
  • knowledge of cash register and ordering information systems
