The role of Food and Beverage Server at JW Marriott Baltimore is a non-management, full-time position, compensated at an hourly wage of $9.25 with eligibility to receive tips. - at least 1 year of related work experience
- ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance

- basic cash handling and POS system experience

Job Duties
- Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests
- set tables according to type of event and service standards
- answer questions on menu selections
- communicate with kitchen regarding menu questions, length of wait, re-cook orders, and product availability
- communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to kitchen
- record transactions in MICROS system at time of order
- check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course and/or beverages
- maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glass, etc. throughout the day
- complete closing duties including restocking items and turning off lights
- present accurate check to guest and process payment
