This particular position is for a Server at a Pizza Hut location. The Server plays an essential role in the overall dining experience by ensuring guests receive attentive and courteous service. The responsibilities of the Server include taking customer orders accurately, entering orders promptly into the Point of Sale (POS) system, serving food and beverages efficiently, and maintaining a clean and inviting dining environment. The job is physically engaging, requiring the Server to stand, walk, and carry items throughout the shift. Attention to detail is critical when setting up tables with marketing materials, condiments, and placemats. The Server must be able to handle a fast-paced environment, often balancing multiple tables and requests simultaneously while maintaining a professional demeanor. Customer service excellence is paramount, with expectations to greet customers promptly upon arrival, escort them to their seats, explain menu items, and follow up on their dining experience. Crucially, the Server supports various operational activities, including prepping the dining area, assisting with phone orders and carry-out services, completing sidework, and participating in closing and cleaning duties.

Safety standards, including proper food handling and cleanliness, are strictly observed. The Server must be capable of working independently at times and under the supervision of the Restaurant Management Team. Job Requirements
- Able to perform or learn to perform the essential functions of the position at an acceptable pace
- Sufficient physical condition to lift, bend, stand and walk for the duration of the shift
- Must have sufficient visual ability and communication skills
- Must be able to work under conditions of high temperature near ovens
- Able to maintain self-control and composure during stressful situations
- Mental alertness to work independently without supervision

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in a customer service or restaurant serving role is beneficial
- Ability to operate POS systems and related technology
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
- Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Greet and seat customers promptly and courteously
- Take and enter customer orders accurately into the POS system
- Serve food and beverages to customers, ensuring timely delivery
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area including tables, chairs, and condiment stations
- Suggest menu items and upsell specials, appetizers, and desserts
- Assist with phone orders, carryout, and drive-thru service as needed
- Complete sidework tasks such as restocking stations, cleaning highchairs and booster seats, and filling salad bars (where applicable)
