The Server role at SSP America is a full-time position that offers a competitive wage of $16.30 per hour plus tips. Servers are pivotal in maintaining the high standards of customer service the company is known for. Servers at SSP America are trained suggestive sellers who possess in-depth knowledge of the products they offer, helping guests select menu items that enhance their experience. Candidates must be comfortable working under set schedules and have open availability on weekends, which are peak periods at the airport dining locations.

A typical day for a Server includes greeting guests promptly, inputting orders accurately using point-of-sale systems, and handling cash transactions responsibly. Maintaining proper restaurant setup and cleanliness is also essential. Servers must adhere to all State, Federal, and Corporate regulations regarding the service of alcoholic beverages, ensuring the safety and compliance of the establishment. In addition to their primary serving duties, Servers perform general cleaning tasks and assist with other duties as assigned to uphold the overall quality and health standards of the restaurant. Job Duties

  • Greet guests in a timely, courteous, and friendly manner
  • Input orders into register at the point of sale and create a check for each guest
  • Receive cash from guests, make any change needed, verify validity of charges, record charges, and ensure vouchers are properly executed
  • Maintain proper and adequate set-up of restaurant at all times
  • Must adhere to all State, Federal, and Corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests at all times
  • Perform general cleaning tasks using standard cleaning products as assigned by supervisor to adhere to health standards
  • Other duties as assigned
