  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment

  • Must have a valid form of identification
  • Must have the knowledge to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measurement using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
  • Must have the knowledge to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts and tips
  • Must possess physical ability to stand, walk, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, carry up to 50 pounds, and maintain balance
  • Must have sufficient physical mobility or agility to respond quickly to emergencies

Job Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of experience in restaurant industry
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge and passion for tableside service, wine, and craft cocktails are a plus
  • Meets state minimum age (18) to serve alcohol
  • Basic knowledge of English
  • Ability to read, understand and follow verbal and written company directives
  • Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of government policies and regulations
  • Ability to effectively answer questions and speak before groups of managers, clients, and customers
  • Ability to use common sense to understand and carry out written and oral instructions
  • Ability to creatively solve problems in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to learn and utilize Toast Point-of-Sale (POS) and Restaurant365 systems

Job Duties

  • Answer questions about the menu, sell restaurant's food and drinks, and communicate orders with the kitchen
  • Stay guest focused and sustain an excellent guest experience
  • Possess strong food and beverage knowledge
  • Keep all working stations clean, organized and properly stocked
  • Perform daily and weekly cleaning duties
  • Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions, ensuring charges are accurate and returning correct change to guest
  • Assess customers' needs and preferences and make recommendations
