The Server role at Sonia's Seafood is integral to delivering remarkable dining experiences and enhancing customer satisfaction. This guest-facing position requires the ability to provide fast, friendly, and attentive service while demonstrating extensive knowledge of the menu — particularly the seafood and fish plate options that form the heart of the restaurant's offerings. Job Qualifications
- Previous serving experience preferred

Job Duties

- answer questions about ingredients, freshness, and preparation
- drive sales through confident and knowledgeable recommendations
- take accurate food and beverage orders
- enter orders correctly into POS system
- ensure all modifications and special requests are clearly communicated
- deliver food and beverages accurately and in a timely manner
- verify orders before delivering to guests
- maintain awareness of food quality and presentation
- ensure seafood dishes are delivered properly and meet standards
- communicate with kitchen regarding timing and order accuracy
- follow all food safety and hygiene standards
- process payments accurately using POS system
- handle cash, credit cards, and other payment methods
- provide correct change and receipts
- follow company procedures for transactions and accountability
- maintain clean and organized tables and sections
- reset tables quickly and properly
- ensure dining area, service stations, and outdoor areas are clean and stocked
- complete side work and assigned cleaning duties
- communicate effectively with kitchen and FOH team
- support teammates during busy periods
- assist with running food, clearing tables, and maintaining flow
- maintain awareness of overall restaurant operations
