The opportunity at Local Station is for a polished, personable Server who truly values the guest experience. This role is designed for someone who understands that exceptional service goes beyond simply taking orders; it involves reading the table, mastering the menu thoroughly, and ensuring every guest feels that their visit was exceptional. Servers at Local Station are expected to bring energy, professionalism, and a genuine passion for hospitality to every shift. With a tipped position that offers a base wage of $2.13 per hour plus tips and average total earnings between $20 and $25 per hour, this role provides both financial reward and the chance to be part of a warm and welcoming team. As a Server at Local Station, you will be delivering an attentive, knowledgeable, and personalized dining experience to every guest. Your responsibilities will include guiding guests through the menu with enthusiasm, sharing in-depth knowledge of food and beverages, accurately managing orders, coordinating seamlessly with the kitchen and bar, and anticipating guest needs before any issues arise. Maintaining your section's cleanliness and organization during service is crucial, as is collaborating closely with the support staff to ensure smooth and efficient service flow. This role also involves completing side work and opening or closing duties as assigned.

Ideal candidates will have at least one year of serving experience in a full-service restaurant, strong menu knowledge with the ability to confidently discuss food and cocktails, and a warm, professional demeanor that helps create genuine connections with guests. The ability to stay organized and composed during busy periods is essential. Candidates must be reliable, punctual, team-oriented, hold or be able to obtain Food Handler certification, meet Georgia's legal age requirement to serve alcohol, and be flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Job Duties

  • Deliver an attentive, knowledgeable, and personalized dining experience to every table
