As a Restaurant Server, you will play a critical role in driving guest satisfaction by providing courteous, professional, and efficient food and beverage service. Your responsibilities will include greeting and welcoming guests with a friendly smile, suggesting menu items through suggestive selling techniques, and ensuring that every guest feels valued and well cared for. Attention to hygiene and maintaining a clean and professional restaurant environment will be essential in this position to uphold the high standards of our establishment.

This role requires excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment. You will work collaboratively with coworkers and supervisors to ensure the smooth operation of the restaurant, complete assigned opening and closing duties, and comply with all licensing laws, health and safety regulations. The position requires open availability including weekends and holidays, and willingness to work in a physically active role involving extended periods of standing, carrying up to 50 pounds, and continuous movement throughout your shift.

Job Requirements

  • Ability to take food and beverage orders correctly, giving prompt, efficient and correct delivery of order to the guest
  • Promptly presenting the guest with a check and collecting all monies for full payment of check
  • Keeps the immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance
  • Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established company policies and procedures to achieve the overall objectives of this position
  • Excellent communication, organizational and guest service skills required
  • Projects a favorable image of the hotel to the public at all times
  • Must have open availability and be willing to work weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Providing value added service to guests by doing whatever is reasonable and possible to meet or exceed the guest expectations
  • Communication effectively with guests, co-workers, and supervisors
  • Ensure that the restaurant is in proper condition for the arrival of guest
  • Complete opening and closing side work as directed by your supervisor/manager
  • Greet and welcome all guests with a smile at the tables, suggest specials using suggestive selling techniques
  • Adheres to hotel’s standards of operations
  • Ensuring compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations
