The Server position reports directly to the Director of Culinary and is an hourly role essential to maintaining the high standards of our dining operations. The server plays a vital role in preparing the front of house for meal service, accurately taking and delivering food and drink orders, and ensuring that our residents receive attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience. This role also involves performing various closing duties in the dining room and assisting food preparation staff when necessary. The Server is expected to know the menu well to make appropriate suggestions and to engage with residents warmly to create a positive and comfortable atmosphere. Beyond regular duties, the Server participates in ongoing training through our designated Learning Management System (LMS) to stay updated with community standards and practices. This position requires a strong work ethic, the ability to perform high-quality work independently, and a positive attitude toward collaborating with cooks and other staff members. Physical demands include prolonged walking and standing, lifting and carrying weights up to 50 pounds, frequent bending, squatting, twisting, and reaching, ensuring the Server can fulfill all job responsibilities safely and effectively.
