Job Description

Atlas Restaurant Group is a prominent hospitality company that operates a variety of dining establishments across Baltimore and other regions. Known for its commitment to exceptional guest experiences, the group focuses on creating memorable culinary moments through genuine hospitality and a strong team-oriented culture. As one of the fastest growing companies in Baltimore, Atlas Restaurant Group values its employees and prioritizes their professional growth, offering a dynamic work environment where staff members have direct access to ownership and senior management. The company fosters a culture of continuous learning, advancement, and engagement, making it an ideal employer for individuals passionate about the restaurant industry and customer service excellence.

The Server role at Atlas Restaurant Group is a vital position responsible for delivering an uncompromising dining experience for guests from the moment they arrive until their departure. Servers embody genuine hospitality, maintain a neat and clean work environment, and have the ability to multitask effectively in fast-paced, team-based settings. This role does not carry any supervisory responsibilities but demands high levels of customer interaction and a thorough knowledge of the restaurant’s food and beverage offerings. Servers are expected to respond accurately to guest inquiries, recommend menu items based on customer preferences, and coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure orders are fulfilled correctly and promptly.

In this position, the Server must also manage cash and card transactions efficiently, ensuring accuracy and returning the correct change to customers. Attention to detail and organizational skills are crucial, as Servers are responsible for keeping their stations clean, well-stocked, and organized. The role includes performing daily and weekly cleaning duties, maintaining sanitation standards, and providing a polished guest experience consistently. Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, is required to meet the operational demands of the restaurant.

The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in the restaurant industry, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a passion for tableside service, wine, and craft cocktails is considered a strong asset. This role also requires compliance with local regulations, including the ability to serve alcohol legally and potentially obtaining a food handler's certification. The Server must also demonstrate proficiency in basic math to handle transactions and calculate discounts or tips, as well as the ability to use restaurant point-of-sale (POS) systems such as Toast and Restaurant365.

Atlas Restaurant Group offers competitive compensation based on location, with hourly wages supplemented by tips. Full-time employees working 30 or more hours per week are eligible for an attractive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) contributions, company-paid life and AD&D insurance, learning and development programs, mobility and advancement opportunities, pet insurance, and discounts at Atlas properties. Part-time employees also receive selected benefits such as 401(k) contributions, life insurance, and career development support.

Joining the Atlas Restaurant Group as a Server provides a unique opportunity to grow within a supportive and fast-growing company. Employees benefit from direct interaction with senior leaders and ownership, fostering a transparent work culture and enabling career advancement. This role is perfect for individuals who thrive in energetic environments, enjoy working with people, and are dedicated to delivering excellent service consistently.
