Job Description
The Global Ambassador is a prestigious and internationally inspired hotel located at the intersection of Phoenix, Scottsdale, and Paradise Valley. Founded by hospitality innovator Sam Fox, it is the latest addition to Author & Edit, a growing collection of unique hospitality experiences that are celebrated for their exceptional design and world-class service. With 141 thoughtfully designed rooms, the hotel effortlessly blends global influences with a deep connection to its local surroundings, offering guests a sophisticated yet welcoming atmosphere. This property is recognized for its excellence, having earned a MICHELIN Key in both 2024 and 2025, and receiving high praise from top travel publications such as Esquire, which named it among the Best New Hotels in the World, and Conde Nast Traveler, which included it on its Hot List. The Global Ambassador provides guests with an unparalleled stay that combines inspired design, superb dining, elevated wellness offerings, and a curated hospitality experience.
Within the walls of The Global Ambassador, guests can explore six distinctive dining experiences, each crafted to deliver unique culinary delights. Among these, Le Ame Parisian Steakhouse stands out as a romantic and elegant venue that honors traditional French cuisine with a contemporary steakhouse twist. The menu at Le Ame features timeless French favorites such as Steak Frites Au Poivre and French Onion Soup alongside imaginative dishes like Tuna Carpaccio and Brick-Pressed Chicken Coq Au Vin. Complementing the thoughtfully prepared menu is a wine list curated by the hotel’s master sommelier, which balances Parisian authenticity with selections from across the globe. The cocktail program is designed to reflect the cuisine with inventive drinks including Le Spritz Nouveau and French for Grapefruit, making Le Ame a destination for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch.
The role of Server at The Global Ambassador offers an exciting opportunity to be a vital part of a dynamic, fast-paced hospitality environment where teamwork, passion for service, and excellence are core values. This position demands someone who thrives in delivering personalized guest experiences and understands the importance of attention to detail and genuine hospitality. Servers will be responsible for welcoming and greeting guests warmly, making each individual feel comfortable and cared for, and remembering regular guests’ names and preferences. A crucial part of this role is communicating menu updates and specials enthusiastically and accurately, ensuring guests have the best possible dining experience.
In addition to outstanding guest interaction, Servers are tasked with taking and entering orders into the point-of-sale system efficiently, adhering to alcohol service laws, and promptly delivering food and beverages. Attention to maintaining cleanliness and organization of the service station is essential to uphold the establishment's high standards. Servers will also be expected to monitor guest satisfaction, respond to any special requests promptly and courteously, and manage the billing process accurately. Team collaboration is emphasized, requiring readiness to assist fellow servers and back servers as needed to maintain smooth operations throughout the restaurant. Participation in proactive communication is encouraged to help solve any operational, HR, or financial challenges swiftly.
The position comes with competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits for team members working 25 or more hours per week, including medical, dental, and vision coverage. Employees working 32 or more hours per week become eligible for paid time off, reinforcing the company's commitment to work-life balance and employee wellbeing. Those interested in this opportunity will find a workplace that values excellent service, fosters professional growth, and celebrates hospitality with an international flair. Join The Global Ambassador for a career that blends cultural sophistication with heartfelt service in one of the most exciting hotel environments in the region.
