Job Description

Wallick Senior Living is a distinguished leader in the senior living industry, dedicated to creating vibrant communities where older adults can enjoy a high quality of life during their golden years. Established nearly 60 years ago, Wallick has grown into a 100% employee-owned company that values care, character, and collaboration, fostering an environment where both residents and employees thrive. With over 1,000 employees, the company prides itself on empowering its workforce, encouraging a supportive and team-oriented culture where every member makes a meaningful impact. The company operates multiple senior living communities offering assisted living, memory care, and other supportive services tailored to meet the unique needs of their residents. Wallick Senior Living’s mission is to open doors to homes, opportunity, and hope — and it is deeply embedded in their values and everyday operations.

The server position at Ashford of Beavercreek, a full-time role paying $14 per hour, offers a unique chance to join this compassionate community dedicated to improving the lives of seniors. This role is not just about serving meals; it’s about contributing to the well-being and happiness of each resident by providing exceptional dining experiences that cater to their individual preferences and needs. Servers at Wallick Senior Living play a vital role in creating a welcoming and enjoyable dining atmosphere that enhances the quality of life for residents.

The responsibilities of this position include taking care of residents' meal requests during mealtimes, setting up and cleaning the dining area, and ensuring beverages like juice, coffee, and iced tea are stocked and readily available. Additionally, servers maintain a supply of clean utensils, cups, and glasses, and they are expected to assist the team and support residents with any other tasks as needed. This role requires a compassionate and flexible individual who thrives in a team environment and values strong communication skills with both coworkers and residents.

Wallick supports its employees through an exceptional benefit package, including health, dental, and vision insurance starting within two weeks of employment. Additional benefits such as gym membership reimbursement, paid parental leave, 401K retirement plans, and a pay-on-demand option allowing employees to access their wages as they earn them contribute to an excellent work-life balance. Wallick also offers tuition reimbursement, professional development opportunities, and career advancement within a company that truly invests in its people.

Work-life balance is a core priority at Wallick Senior Living, with paid time off and an inclusive culture that celebrates diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging. The company fosters a respectful and safe environment where associates can bring their authentic selves to work and grow professionally. As an employee-owner organization, Wallick ensures that every worker shares in the company’s profitability, enriching their financial future as they contribute to the success of the community. Joining Wallick Senior Living means making a difference in the lives of seniors while building a rewarding career with a respected and compassionate employer.
