The Server role at Clearwater at The Arboretum is a full-time position that plays a critical part in enhancing the dining experience of our senior residents. This role entails delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring residents enjoy their meals in a pleasant and positive atmosphere. The Server will be responsible for greeting and seating residents, taking meals orders accurately, assisting residents with menu selections when needed, and serving food and beverages with professionalism, courtesy, and proper etiquette. This position also requires maintaining sanitary dining areas, adhering to Clearwater's standards, and collaborating with the culinary and dining teams to support a seamless service experience.

Job Duties
- Take written food orders and serve meals to residents, family members and guests in a professional, efficient and courteous manner ensuring the highest customer satisfaction
- Assist residents with meal/menu selections as necessary or requested
- Use proper etiquette and manners while waiting tables courteously and professionally (serving from the left, clearing used dishes between courses, etc.)
- Review residents' dietary needs, as outlined by the Culinary Director
- Track resident attendance at meals in a timely manner to the appropriate person
- Ensure that all residents are greeted and seated properly, making extra efforts to integrate new residents making them feel welcome and comfortable
- Ensure a clean sanitary dining area and comply with all policies and procedures regarding the proper handling and serving of food
- Display tact and friendliness when dealing with residents, associates, and guests
- Clean and reset tables, returning dishes to kitchen
- Clean and set up of all dining and food service areas including stocking of condiments pulling old items and restocking as necessary (sugars, salt/pepper, ketchups, etc.)
- Cooperate and assist with other kitchen and dining services to ensure residents have a positive dining experience
- Assist in breaking down deliveries, putting away stock, washing dishes, as needed
- Deliver meals to resident rooms as required, including tray collection after meal service
- Comply with Clearwater standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient community operations
- Display a positive and professional image through actions and maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes wearing the proper uniform and name tag when working
- Represent the Clearwater principles and core values on a daily basis
- Perform other duties and tasks as assigned or required
