Job Requirements
- Valid Food Handlers Card if required by county
- One to two years of experience in a similar role preferred
- Ability to work flexible schedules including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Good personal hygiene and clean, proper uniform adherence
- Ability to work efficiently and respectfully with fellow team members and managers
- Must be accountable and responsible for duties
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
Job Qualifications
- Outstanding customer relation skills and ability to ensure a guest priority culture
- Effective communication and good organization skills
- Accuracy and honesty of handling revenues and aspects of the revenue control system
- One to two years of Polly’s experience and/or training preferred
- Ability to act on and solve minor problems as they arise
- Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
- Valid Food Handlers Card if required by county
Job Duties
- Takes verbal drink and meal orders according to guest preference
- Prepares the tables, laying out napkins and utensils, making sure the condiments are refilled, performing all other preparation tasks
- Demonstrates menu expertise and identifies menu items in Aloha Point of Sale System
- Serves high quality food and checks all orders to ensure they are complete, prepared as ordered, portioned correctly and attractive in appearance
- Monitors and oversees food temperatures during hot and cold handling to reduce the incidence of risk factors known to cause food borne illness
- Consistently exceed Polly’s standards and maintain mystery shopper scores of 90 and above
- Follow proper cash handling procedures as defined by the Cash Handling Policy
