Job Requirements

  • Valid Food Handlers Card if required by county
  • One to two years of experience in a similar role preferred
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Good personal hygiene and clean, proper uniform adherence
  • Ability to work efficiently and respectfully with fellow team members and managers
  • Must be accountable and responsible for duties
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure

Job Qualifications

  • Outstanding customer relation skills and ability to ensure a guest priority culture
  • Effective communication and good organization skills
  • Accuracy and honesty of handling revenues and aspects of the revenue control system
  • One to two years of Polly’s experience and/or training preferred
  • Ability to act on and solve minor problems as they arise
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
  • Valid Food Handlers Card if required by county

Job Duties

  • Takes verbal drink and meal orders according to guest preference
  • Prepares the tables, laying out napkins and utensils, making sure the condiments are refilled, performing all other preparation tasks
  • Demonstrates menu expertise and identifies menu items in Aloha Point of Sale System
  • Serves high quality food and checks all orders to ensure they are complete, prepared as ordered, portioned correctly and attractive in appearance
  • Monitors and oversees food temperatures during hot and cold handling to reduce the incidence of risk factors known to cause food borne illness
  • Consistently exceed Polly’s standards and maintain mystery shopper scores of 90 and above
  • Follow proper cash handling procedures as defined by the Cash Handling Policy
