  • Ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities
  • Culinary experience or food industry knowledge preferred for better understanding of menu offerings
  • Effective time management skills to handle busy service periods seamlessly
  • Food safety certification and sanitation knowledge to ensure compliance with health regulations
  • Basic math skills for accurate check processing and cash handling

Job Duties

  • Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
  • Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
  • Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
  • Manage multiple tables efficiently with excellent time management skills
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, including bussing tables and food handling
  • Assist with food preparation when needed and support kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
  • Use reservation systems like OpenTable to manage bookings and guest seating efficiently
  • Foster positive guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and ensuring satisfaction
