Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years experience in food service or related field preferred
- Valid Food Handlers Card (if required by county)
- Ability to work flexible hours including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle cash accurately and responsibly
- Commitment to maintaining cleanliness and safety standards
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
- Positive attitude and a team player mentality
Job Qualifications
- Outstanding customer relation skills and ability to ensure a guest priority culture
- Effective communication
- Good organization skills
- Accuracy and honesty in handling revenues and aspects of the revenue control system
- 1-2 years experience and/or training preferred
- Ability to act on and solve minor problems as they arise
- Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
- Valid Food Handlers Card (if required by county)
Job Duties
- Takes verbal drink and meal orders according to guest preference
- Prepares the tables, lays out napkins and utensils, makes sure the condiments are refilled, and performs all other preparation tasks
- Protects the brand by demonstrating menu expertise, identify menu items in Point of Sale System, and able to identify menu items and ingredients for the guests
- Serves high-quality food and checks all orders to ensure they are complete, prepared as ordered, portioned correctly, and attractive in appearance
- Monitors and oversees food temperatures during hot and cold handling to reduce the incidence of risk factors known to cause food-borne illness
- Consistently exceed Polly’s standards and maintain mystery shopper scores of 90 and above
- Follow proper cash handling procedures, as defined by the Cash Handling Policy
- Must D.W.I.T. (Do Whatever It Takes) to enhance the guest experience, Make The Connection and always maintain a high level of commitment to service standards
- Maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment, and the achievement of safe working practices
- Promote Polly’s culture, standards, and Core Values
- Must always be accountable and/or responsible for your duties
- Restocks and clean service area
- Performs side work during shift downtime including but not limited to rolling silverware, restocking condiment holders, cleaning work areas, etc.
- Reports to work well-groomed, in clean and proper uniform, and practices good personal hygiene
- Able to work efficiently and respectfully with fellow Team Members and Managers
- Able to work a flexible schedule
