Job Duties

  • Greet and seat guests in a courteous and professional manner
  • Present menus, explain daily specials, and answer questions regarding menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the point-of-sale system
  • Serve food and drinks promptly and ensure orders are correct and meet quality standards
  • Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction and address any issues or special requests
  • Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to coordinate order timing and delivery
  • Handle guest payments and provide accurate change or process electronic transactions
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining and service areas throughout the shift
  • Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe dining environment
