Job Description
Belmont Village Senior Living is a leading operator and manager of luxury senior living communities, with properties spanning the United States and Mexico City, Mexico. Known for its commitment to providing exceptional living environments for seniors, Belmont Village emphasizes a culture of servant leadership where team members thrive in fast-paced, hands-on roles. The company values trust, respect, teamwork, dignity, integrity, ownership, and continuous learning, which translate into a highly supportive and empowering workplace for all employees. Belmont Village offers a robust strategic growth plan that fosters opportunities for internal advancement and professional development, making it an attractive employer for those seeking a meaningful career in senior care and hospitality.
The role of Dining Room Server at Belmont Village Senior Living, specifically at the Carol Stream, Illinois location, is a part-time position designed for individuals passionate about delivering outstanding dining experiences in a senior living community. This position is unique in that it is non-tipped, providing a steady and reliable schedule for employees without the variability often associated with traditional server roles. Working from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., this job requires availability on weekends and holidays to meet the needs of the community. The Dining Room Server will be responsible for creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere during meals — critical moments in the daily lives of residents.
In this role, the server will work closely with a collaborative team to provide attentive and personalized service, ensuring that each resident receives food and beverage orders accurately and on time. The position entails taking orders, suggesting menu options, delivering meals with proper presentation, and maintaining the overall cleanliness and readiness of the dining space. Additionally, servers contribute to special events and celebrations within the community, enhancing the social and communal dining experience for residents.
Belmont Village’s Dining Room Servers are vital to the community’s success because they provide consistency and reliability that residents and their families can count on. Beyond the immediate duties, Belmont Village invests in its people through career growth and training programs led by experts, a direct employee support system known as BV Cares, and incentives that recognize employee milestones and achievements. These programs reinforce the company’s commitment to a positive workplace culture where employees are encouraged to learn, grow, and build long-term careers.
Employees benefit from comprehensive medical, dental, vision, mental health, and prescription plans, along with paid time off, retirement savings with employer match, and disability and life insurance, making Belmont Village not just a place to work, but a community to grow and thrive in. This opportunity is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a team-oriented, hands-on hospitality role, who are reliable and eager to contribute positively to the lives of seniors. Belmont Village Senior Living stands as an Equal Opportunity Employer that fosters inclusivity and diversity within its workforce.
