Job Description

Lakeview at Fleet Landing invites you to make the next chapter in your story by joining a community where integrity and passion drive excellence. Since its establishment in 1990, Fleet Landing has evolved into a dynamic and purpose-driven senior living community recognized for its commitment to quality and outstanding hospitality. This vibrant community not only offers pristine campus grounds and luxury healthcare environments but also extraordinary dining experiences that cater thoughtfully to its residents. Fleet Landing stands out in senior living by prioritizing the successful aging of those who live here, with an unwavering dedication to service and quality of life.

Working at Fleet Landing means becoming part of a team that consistently strives for excellence and innovation in senior living. The community fosters an inclusive, supportive, and collaborative atmosphere where every team member’s contributions matter. It provides opportunities for personal and professional growth and a workplace culture where meaningful careers are nurtured. The environment is enriched by great residents, strong teams, and a spirit of cooperation, all while delivering an extraordinary quality of life to residents.

The Server position at Fleet Landing plays a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of the dining experience provided to residents and their guests. The server’s primary responsibilities include performing various services in the dining room such as waiting on assigned tables, taking food and beverage orders, setting and bussing tables, completing assigned side work, and properly charging residents using the Pinnacle Point of Sale (P.O.S.) system. The role demands attentiveness, promptness, and courteous interaction with residents and guests, always aiming to exceed their expectations and enhance their dining experience.

This position also entails a thorough understanding and application of dining etiquette in a formal dining setting, including greeting residents and guests formally, serving meals according to established protocols, and ensuring that every dining need is met with professionalism and warmth. The server observes diners carefully to respond to any additional requests and expertly manages order entry and billing through the P.O.S. system. Maintaining cleanliness and smooth operation of the designated station is an essential part of the job to ensure the dining room remains organized and inviting.

Fleet Landing is proud to offer WELLInspired™ benefits, including a generous 401k match, 90% employer-paid medical premium costs, uncapped paid time off accrual starting from day one, and extensive scholarship and continuing education opportunities. These benefits reflect Fleet Landing’s commitment to the well-being and growth of its team members. Potential employees are encouraged to consider how Fleet Landing might be the ideal next chapter in their career journey—where their work brings new meaning and purpose to their lives.
