Job Duties
- assist in the training and development of new team members
- cooperate, communicate, and work as part of a team
- handle cash and credit card transactions properly
- practice responsible alcohol service according to licensing authorities and training guidelines
- accept and facilitate to-go orders via phone or online ordering
- maintain professional image and proper uniform standards
- engage frequently with guests and inquire about their dining experience
- involve a manager promptly when handling negative guest experiences
- thank every guest sincerely for their patronage
- maintain high level of food and beverage knowledge
- ensure menu items are prepared according to Boston’s standards
- manage stock levels as specified by supervisors
- use standard recipes and methods to ensure consistency
- assist in implementing ongoing and upcoming promotions
- adhere to cleanliness standards inside and outside the restaurant according to health department guidelines
- practice proper food safety including time and temperature control and hygiene
- ensure proper labeling, dating, rotation, and shelf-life standards
- follow checklists and cleaning schedules for a safe dining environment
