Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience as a server or in a hospitality setting preferred
- Ability to pass background checks including fitness for duty physical and fingerprinting
- Ability to lift and carry trays and dishes
- Flexibility to work varied part-time schedules
- Ability to perform minimal food preparation
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Must be able to respond courteously and timely to residents' needs
Job Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Prior experience in a server or hospitality role preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Friendly and professional demeanor
- Commitment to high standards of customer service
Job Duties
- Sets up tables in the dining room for meals or catered events
- Clears and reset tables during and after meal service
- Serves food and beverages to residents and guests following proper dining room procedures
- Completes opening and/or closing side work duties in a timely manner
- Assembles and delivers trays and to-go meals
- Checks and attends to scheduled catering events
- Assist with Host/Hostess duties
- Informs Dining Room Supervisor of any problems
