Job Description

 A part-time catering server provides food and beverage service at events (weddings, corporate functions, parties), balancing table service, buffet management, and bar service. Responsibilities include setting up/breaking down event spaces, serving meals, mixing drinks, maintaining cleanliness, and delivering exceptional guest service in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Service & Setup: Set up, maintain, and break down buffets, stations, and bars, including lifting, carrying, and arranging furniture and supplies.

Bartending: Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently, complying with all safety, age verification, and alcohol service laws (TABC/safe alcohol service).

Food Service: Provide plated or buffet-style service, including clearing tables and attending to guest needs.

Guest Service: Greet guests, offer recommendations, and handle requests professionally in a high-pressure environment.

Requirements & Skills Experience: No Prior experience is needed, but experience is appreciated.

Availability: Flexible hours, typically requiring morning, afternoon, evenings and weekends.

Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and lift or move event equipment.

Certification: Valid food handler and, for bartending, Alcohol Server/TABC certificates are necessary.

Reliability: Dependable transportation is required, especially for off-site, event-based roles.

Typical Work Environment & Compensation Setting: Various locations, including hotel banquets, convention centers, or private venues.

Compensation: Starting pay is 15.00 an hour(Based on Experience) This role is ideal for individuals looking for flexible part time work for additional income.
