Job Description
Cracker Barrel is a renowned American restaurant and gift store chain that has been serving guests since 1969. Known for its country hospitality and Southern-inspired cuisine, Cracker Barrel has become much more than just a dining establishment — it has grown into a welcoming place where people gather to enjoy comfort food, warm service, and a nostalgic atmosphere. With over 70,000 team members across the nation, Cracker Barrel prides itself on its strong roots, commitment to quality, and creating a sense of belonging for both guests and employees. The company is dedicated to upholding a culture of teamwork, respect, and genuine care, making it a desirable workplace for individuals passionate about hospitality and guest service.
As a server at Cracker Barrel, you play an essential role in crafting memorable guest experiences through genuine interactions and attentive service. Servers at Cracker Barrel aren’t just responsible for delivering food; they embody the spirit of country hospitality by paying attention to the small but meaningful details—like bringing an extra lemon for a guest’s iced tea or asking about their day. The role emphasizes creating connection and appreciation while working in a team-oriented environment. Furthermore, Cracker Barrel offers an inclusive and supportive workplace that nurtures growth and development from day one. No prior restaurant experience is required, as Cracker Barrel provides industry-leading training programs to ensure you succeed from the start.
This position offers competitive pay, weekly and same-day pay options, and numerous benefits for both part-time and full-time employees. Benefits include health insurance eligibility from day one, vacation time, employee assistance programs, a 401(k) plan with company matching after 90 days, an employee stock purchase program, and various employee discounts on food and retail. The company fosters a culture that values recognition, belonging, and personal development, encouraging team members to thrive personally and professionally. If you are someone who enjoys creating positive guest experiences, works well in a team, learns quickly, and maintains a positive attitude, Cracker Barrel invites you to join their team where "we're all in good company."
