This particular role is a Full Time, Non-Management position in the Food and Beverage category within the culinary operations of The Ritz-Carlton Orlando Grande Lakes. As a team member in this role, you will be responsible for delivering impeccable dining experiences to the hotel’s guests by greeting them warmly, serving food and beverages promptly, and demonstrating comprehensive menu knowledge to handle inquiries and special requests effectively. You will be engaged in the entire dining process, from welcoming guests, taking charge of the table setting and cleanliness, to managing transactions accurately using the MICROS point-of-sale system. Close attention to guest satisfaction and proactive service will position you as a significant contributor to the dining atmosphere.
The Ritz-Carlton emphasizes the importance of teamwork, a positive attitude, and being outgoing, traits that are essential to succeed in this role. Prior experience as a server is an advantage but not mandatory, as the hotel provides the necessary training and certification related to safety and service. The role requires physical capability to move and lift up to 25 pounds, as well as the ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods. A clean and professional appearance with proper uniform adherence is mandatory, reflecting the hotel's luxury standards.

Job Requirements
- Ability to move and lift up to 25 pounds
- Ability to stand, sit or walk for extended periods
- Maintain a professional appearance with a clean uniform
- Successfully complete safety training and certification before employment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of related work experience
- No supervisory experience required
- No licenses or certifications required

Job Duties
- Welcome guests and promptly attend tables
- Serve food and beverages to guests and provide recommendations if necessary

- Accurately and timely record transactions using the MICROS system
- Approach guests to ensure satisfaction with each dish and drink
- Clean tables, complete closing tasks, and restock dishware and other supplies
