This role is a full-time, non-management Food and Beverage position located at Philadelphia Marriott Downtown. The position offers a pay rate of $9.33 per hour and is tip eligible, providing an opportunity for employees to supplement their income through gratuities. Working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, the candidate will be integral in delivering outstanding dining experiences to guests. Responsibilities include welcoming guests, serving food and beverages, sharing detailed knowledge of the menu, and ensuring tables are properly set and cleaned. The role also requires frequent interaction with guests to guarantee satisfaction and address special requests, making the server an ambassador of the hotel’s hospitality standards.

The position demands excellent conversational skills, a positive and outgoing personality, and the ability to work collaboratively with team members. Previous experience as a server is considered advantageous but not mandatory. The job requires the physical capability to lift up to 25 pounds and the stamina to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods. A professional appearance and adherence to uniform standards are essential. Employees will undergo safety training and certification before starting.
