Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • At least 1 year of related work experience
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period
  • Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance and objects weighing more with help
  • Ability to follow safety and security policies
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to maintain professional appearance and behavior
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Willingness to complete safety training and certifications
  • Availability to work full time

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent

  • No supervisory experience required
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally
  • Ability to follow safety and security policies
  • Capability to maintain cleanliness and organize work areas
  • Experience handling cash and processing payments
  • Strong interpersonal skills to engage with guests and team members
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently

Job Duties

  • Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests
  • Set tables according to type of event and service standards
  • Answer questions on menu selections
  • Communicate with the kitchen regarding menu questions, length of wait, re-cook orders, and product availability
  • Communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen
  • Record transactions in MICROS system at time of order
  • Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course and/or beverage
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glassware throughout the day
  • Complete closing duties including restocking items and turning off lights
  • Present accurate check to guest and process payment
  • Follow company and safety policies and procedures
  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to manager
  • Complete safety training and certifications
  • Ensure professional appearance and uniform
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
  • Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards
  • Anticipate and address guests' service needs
  • Assist individuals with disabilities
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships
  • Support team to reach common goals
  • Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
  • Read and verify information in various formats
  • Stand, sit, walk for extended periods
