We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and customer-oriented Restaurant Server to join our team. This role is extremely important as it directly influences the quality of the guest experience. The Restaurant Server will be responsible for greeting customers promptly upon seating, efficiently taking and delivering orders, and ensuring that every guest's needs are met throughout their visit. The position requires excellent communication skills, a customer-focused attitude, and the ability to work well within a team. Flexibility in scheduling is essential as the role involves working varied hours including nights, weekends, and holidays to accommodate our busy service times. Physical demands include standing and walking for extended periods, as well as some lifting and manual tasks associated with maintaining a clean and organized service area.

In addition to serving guests, the Restaurant Server will assist in side station duties and uphold cleanliness and safety standards in the dining area. Attention to detail is crucial when inspecting food orders for accuracy and presentation before delivering them to guests. This ensures that every aspect of the meal meets our quality benchmarks. Job Requirements

  • Ability to work in a standard office environment
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer (6-8 hours a day)
  • Occasional standing and walking throughout the workday
  • Frequent fine motor skills, use of hands and fingers for keyboarding/typing, utilizing a mouse or trackpad, writing, and operating office equipment
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
  • Occasionally required to stand, walk, bend, reach, or carry items
  • Ability to lift and/or move 10-25 pounds as needed (e.g., files, office supplies)
  • Visual ability to read from a computer screen and printed materials including close visual focus for extended periods and color differentiation (for certain roles)
  • Ability to hear and participate in conversations and meetings, use phone and/or headset

Job Duties

  • Greet customers promptly upon taking a seat in the restaurant
  • Share any specials or make recommendations from the menu for the customer
  • Secure drink orders and take food orders in an efficient manner
  • Inspect food for accuracy and presentation prior to delivery
  • Maintain a clean table and assist with any refills or requests as needed
  • Complete all side station work and maintain a clean safe environment
