Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous serving experience
- Valid Mast and Food Handlers card
- Ability to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong multitasking abilities
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
- Professional and courteous appearance
- Team-oriented mindset
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience as a server
- Ability to memorize menu ingredients and weekly specials
- General knowledge of wine, cocktails, and beer
- Ability to stand, walk, and carry food trays for prolonged periods
- Ability to effectively listen to and respond to guest needs
- Courteous, friendly, and professional demeanor
- Ability to multitask efficiently
- Ability to work well in a team environment and independently
- Furnish a valid Mast and Food Handlers card upon hire
- Ability to stay composed under pressure
Job Duties
- Take orders from bar customers for food and beverages
- Deliver all beverages in a timely fashion
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and appearance of your section
- Run food to tables and teammates when needed
- Collect customer payments and provide change in a timely and courteous manner
- Provide a positive can-do attitude
- Greet and seat customers with a positive presence
- Accurately take and ring guests' orders
- Deliver food
- Responsible alcohol service
- Bus, clean, and reset tables
- Answer phone calls
- Place to-go orders
- Perform prep or side work
- Prepare bill and process payment accurately
- Perform cleaning duties such as stocking, sanitizing, sweeping floors
- Reconcile daily cash transactions
