The role of Server at our restaurant is vital to the overall guest experience. This is an hourly paid position with dynamic work hours ranging from as early as 9 AM to as late as 2 AM to accommodate our seven-day operation schedule. Servers play a key role in embodying our vision of hospitality, ensuring that every guest interaction is positive and memorable. The position requires a high level of communication skills, multitasking ability, and enthusiasm to provide efficient service with a smile. Servers will engage directly with guests, taking and processing food and beverage orders, verifying age for alcohol purchases, and providing attentive, friendly assistance throughout the dining experience. Additionally, the role involves maintaining cleanliness and smooth operations within the restaurant environment, effectively handling payments, and working closely as part of a team with all company personnel including managers and chefs.

Our ideal candidate will bring both knowledge and passion to food and beverage service, equipped with basic mathematical, computer, and communication skills to manage their duties successfully. Alcohol service certification is considered a plus, demonstrating additional capability in responsible alcohol handling. The server position demands someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and responsive to guests' needs before being asked. Maintaining a neat and professional appearance is mandatory to contribute to the overall ambiance and customer satisfaction of our establishment. Job Requirements

  • Ability to serve 3 to 5 tables efficiently

Job Duties

  • Serve 3 - 5 tables as determined by management
  • Check identification of guests to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol
  • Complete knowledge of the restaurant's food and beverage preparation
  • Able to use a computer to ring orders on a check
  • Communicate with guests using clear and enthusiastic words tone and body language at all times
  • Make guests feel appreciated through your actions
  • Be attentive and offer your assistance before guests have to ask for it
  • Work as a team with all company personnel in order to maintain an effective atmosphere and an efficient food and beverage service
  • Able to accept different types of payment and make change
  • Limit problems and liability related to guests' excessive drinking by taking steps such as persuading guests to stop drinking or ordering taxis or other transportation for intoxicated guests
  • Maintain specific side-work and ensure the total cleanliness and smooth operation of the restaurant
  • Clear and reset tables
  • Report to work in a neat and clean uniform
  • Well-groomed hair and personal hygiene are essential
  • Carry plates to the tables
  • Other duties as directed
