Job Requirements
- minimum age of 18 years
- prior experience in restaurant serving or customer service preferred
- ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- ability to lift up to 40 lbs
- availability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- basic proficiency with POS systems
- strong communication skills
- ability to multitask and manage different activities simultaneously

Job Duties
- Escort guests to their tables when needed
- review MVP program with all guests
- demonstrate strong MVP program knowledge
- review menus and answer questions about menu items
- upsell to improve dining experience and raise check average
- explain how menu items are prepared describing ingredients and cooking methods
- write guests food orders on order pads and repeat the order back
- input guests order accurately into POS system
- check with guests to ensure enjoyment and correct any problems
- check guests identification for alcohol consumption age requirements
- collect payments
- remove dishes and glasses and take to kitchen for cleaning throughout visit and after guests leave
- clean and reset tables after guests have finished dining
- assist host or hostess with phone answering, to-go orders, greeting, seating, and thanking guests
- perform cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, tidying server station, taking out trash, and cleaning bathroom
- roll silverware and set up food stations or dining areas for next shift or large parties
- stock service areas with supplies like coffee, tea, beverages, napkins, side plates
- refill salt, pepper shakers and wipe down table tents
- ask guests to leave a review
- maintain a positive and professional approach to coworkers and customers
