Reveille Management LLC is an independently owned and operated franchisee of Denny's with restaurants located across multiple states including Indiana, New York, Ohio, Kentucky, and Illinois. The role of Server within Reveille Management's Denny's restaurants is essential in creating a memorable guest visit through friendly, efficient, and courteous service. Reporting directly to the General Manager and Restaurant Manager, the Server's primary responsibility is to greet, seat, and attend to guests, ensuring every aspect of their dining experience meets or exceeds expectations. This role is vital in driving customer satisfaction and retention by connecting with guests, suggesting menu items to enhance their visit, accurately taking and delivering orders, and handling payments following safe cash procedures. Servers play a key role in the overall restaurant operations by collaborating with other service personnel and assisting wherever needed.
A Server at Denny's must demonstrate a strong sense of urgency while providing service to maintain efficiency and meet service cycle timing standards. This includes immediate guest greetings, proper seating arrangements, and attentiveness throughout the dining experience. Responsibilities also encompass maintaining product and menu knowledge to perform suggestive selling techniques that contribute to meeting guest check average targets. Servers prepare certain beverages and some appetizers, salads, and desserts, ensuring all orders are complete and presented to the customer with care. This position demands attention to detail and a focus on guest comfort and satisfaction.
Beyond guest interaction, the Server is tasked with safety and cleanliness in the dining area, promptly clearing and resetting tables, and completing side work including deep cleaning as assigned. The Server must adhere strictly to Denny's brand standards and internal policies, demonstrating professionalism in uniform and grooming, as well as telephone etiquette for handling "to go" orders. Physical requirements include the ability to lift and carry supplies, stand and walk throughout shifts, and operate point of sale systems efficiently. The working environment may present loud settings and exposure to cleaning chemicals, requiring servers to maintain awareness and follow health and safety regulations.

Job Requirements
- Able to lift and carry supplies and equipment up to 30 lbs
- Ability to raise a tray weighing up to 25 lbs to shoulder height
- Must be able to bend, stoop, reach, wipe, lift, and grab
- Sufficient mobility to move and operate in work area
- Ability to stand and walk throughout a 4-to-8-hour shift
- Ability to hear well in a loud environment
- Meet state, county, or municipal health regulations regarding food handling
- Ability to observe and differentiate monetary denominations
- Must be able to serve all menu products and operate point of sale systems
- Able to work around potentially hazardous chemicals
- Must pass all required tests and training for the position
- Dependable and able to learn and follow instructions
Job Qualifications
- Effective communication skills in English both orally and in writing
