The Delaney at The Vale is a distinguished senior living community that takes pride in offering compassionate and exceptional care to its residents. Situated in a welcoming and supportive environment, The Delaney at The Vale provides a unique experience where seniors can enjoy their golden years with dignity, comfort, and a vibrant social life. The community emphasizes not only physical well-being but also emotional and social engagement, making it a sought-after destination for seniors who desire a fulfilling lifestyle surrounded by peers and dedicated professionals. With a commitment to high standards and continuous improvement, The Delaney at The Vale stands out as a leader in the senior living industry, investing deeply in both the residents and the employees who make the community thrive.
As a hospitality-focused Server on the culinary team at The Delaney at The Vale, you will be at the heart of delivering an exceptional dining experience to the community's residents. This role involves full-scope, hands-on serving responsibilities within a residential setting designed to feel like home. The Server position is perfect for individuals who are passionate about senior care and hospitality, keen to offer warm, friendly, and efficient service. This opportunity offers flexible scheduling options with part-time shifts on Sundays and Mondays from 6:00 am to 3:00 pm or full-time evening shifts from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on weekdays and weekends. The compensation ranges from $18 to $21 per hour, depending on experience.
The role requires a blend of technical skills in food service and soft skills in interpersonal communication, as you will be interacting regularly with some of the wisest and most experienced individuals. Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and food quality is paramount when ensuring a positive dining environment. You will be responsible for setting tables, maintaining workstations, taking orders, serving meals with proper etiquette, and responding courteously to any inquiries about the menu. Creating an inviting dining atmosphere that enhances the residents' mealtime experience is an essential part of this job. Beyond serving food, you become an integral part of the community's social fabric, supporting the well-being and happiness of its senior residents.
Working at The Delaney at The Vale does not mean just taking a job; it means becoming part of an extraordinary life where your efforts are valued, and your growth is supported. The company invests in its team members through comprehensive benefits such as 401k with employer matching, health insurance, dental and vision coverage, life insurance, paid time off, and daily pay options. If you are an enthusiastic, compassionate individual who is passionate about hospitality, senior care, and engagement, this is a rewarding environment where you can make a real difference in the lives of others while advancing your career.
