Atlas Restaurant Group is one of the fastest-growing restaurant companies in Baltimore, known for its commitment to creating exceptional dining experiences. Specializing in offering diverse and high-quality dining options, Atlas Restaurant Group operates a range of restaurant properties with a focus on genuine hospitality, excellent service, and quality food and beverages. Established with a vision to enrich the local dining scene, the company emphasizes employee growth, engagement, and a vibrant work environment. Working at Atlas means being part of a team that values professionalism, creativity, and personal development, offering both full-time and part-time employment opportunities with competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits packages depending on hours worked and location.

The Server role at Atlas Restaurant Group is pivotal in delivering an uncompromising dining experience to every guest. This position requires a friendly, attentive individual who can multitask efficiently while maintaining a neat and professional appearance. Servers are responsible for answering questions about the menu, taking and accurately communicating orders to the kitchen, and ensuring guests feel welcome and valued throughout their dining experience. The role demands a strong knowledge of food and beverages along with excellent customer service skills, the ability to handle transactions, and maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations.

There are no supervisory responsibilities attached to this position, making it ideal for individuals who thrive as part of a team and want to excel in direct guest interactions. Servers are also expected to adhere to sanitation standards, contribute to daily and weekly cleaning duties, and manage cash, credit, and debit transactions responsibly. The position includes opportunities to recommend dishes and drinks based on guests’ preferences, enhancing the overall dining experience.

This is a dynamic role that requires physical stamina and flexibility to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays. The role suits individuals with a passion for the hospitality industry, who possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and at least two years of experience in a restaurant setting. Applicants typically need to meet minimum age requirements to serve alcohol and may be required to obtain a food handler’s certification depending on local regulations. The role also requires basic mathematical skills for handling payments and calculating tips, along with the ability to learn point-of-sale systems such as Toast POS and Restaurant365.

Atlas Restaurant Group fosters a team-oriented work culture that encourages personal accountability, teamwork, emotional intelligence, and effective communication. Employees are supported in their career development through learning and advancement opportunities, ensuring the company's growth aligns with the professional growth of its workforce. The working environment is fast-paced yet supportive, often involving moderate noise levels and occasional exposure to kitchen activity hazards, but with accommodations available for individuals with disabilities.

Compensation varies by state and includes hourly wages plus tips, with specific rates for Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania, Florida, and Texas. Full-time employees working 30 or more hours benefit from health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401k contribution, company-paid life and AD&D insurance, learning development programs, mobility and advancement opportunities, pet insurance, and discounts at Atlas properties. Part-time employees are eligible for many of these benefits on a pro-rata basis.

Joining the Atlas Restaurant Group means becoming part of a company that not only prioritizes exceptional guest experiences but also values its employees and their contribution to the brand’s success.
