Job Requirements
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment

- basic understanding of cleanliness and sanitation standards
- excellent customer service skills with a polite and attentive demeanor
- flexibility to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- able to work in a team serving environment
- may require a food handler's certification depending on local regulations
- must have a valid form of identification
- must meet state minimum age (18) to serve alcohol
- physical ability to stand, walk, reach, handle, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, lift up to 50 pounds
- ability to read, understand and follow instructions
- emotional intelligence and teamwork skills
- ability to work in environment with moderate noise and occasional exposure to kitchen hazards
Job Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- at least 2 years of experience in restaurant industry
- knowledge and passion for tableside service, wine, and craft cocktails are a plus
- meets state minimum age (18) to serve alcohol
- basic mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- ability to learn and utilize Toast Point-of-Sale (POS) and Restaurant365 systems
- basic knowledge of English
- ability to read, understand, and follow verbal and written instructions
- knowledge and understanding of government policies and regulations
- ability to answer questions and speak before groups effectively
Job Duties
- Answer questions about the menu, sells restaurant’s food and drinks, and communicates orders with the kitchen
- stay guest focused and sustain an excellent guest experience
- possess strong food and beverage knowledge
- keep all working stations clean, organized and properly stocked
- perform daily and weekly cleaning duties
- handling cash, credit, and debit card transactions, ensuring charges are accurate and returning correct change to guest
- assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
