Job Duties

  • Provide friendly and outgoing customer service to guests
  • Develop a strong understanding of the menu for customized service and suggestive selling
  • Record guest orders and enter them into the Point-of-Sale system promptly
  • Process money transactions accurately, including returning change and closing checks
  • Serve multiple tables of guests simultaneously as assigned by management
  • Refill drinks and deliver food promptly using tray service
  • Check guests' identification and serve alcoholic beverages in compliance with state and local regulations
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Memorize the menu and recommend appetizers, meals, and drinks
  • Perform opening and closing side duties such as rolling silverware and setting up soda machines
  • Assist with various tasks including prepping desserts, restocking, checking restrooms, emptying bus tubs, refilling ice, and supporting front and back-of-house team members
  • Follow health and safety standards while maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the dining area
  • Use the online Learning Management System for ongoing training and development
  • Comply with company appearance standards and operational procedures
