Job Duties
- Provide friendly and outgoing customer service to guests
- Develop a strong understanding of the menu for customized service and suggestive selling
- Record guest orders and enter them into the Point-of-Sale system promptly
- Process money transactions accurately, including returning change and closing checks
- Serve multiple tables of guests simultaneously as assigned by management
- Refill drinks and deliver food promptly using tray service
- Check guests' identification and serve alcoholic beverages in compliance with state and local regulations
- Collaborate with team members to ensure guest satisfaction
- Memorize the menu and recommend appetizers, meals, and drinks
- Perform opening and closing side duties such as rolling silverware and setting up soda machines
- Assist with various tasks including prepping desserts, restocking, checking restrooms, emptying bus tubs, refilling ice, and supporting front and back-of-house team members
- Follow health and safety standards while maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the dining area
- Use the online Learning Management System for ongoing training and development
- Comply with company appearance standards and operational procedures
