The available position is for a part-time Dining Room Server, with shifts on Sunday from 11:00 am to 7:30 pm and on Monday from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. This role is pivotal in creating and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring an exceptional dining experience for residents and guests during every meal and special event. As a team member, you will work closely with the Dining Room Coordinator and fellow servers in Belmont Village's Assisted Living community to provide attentive, hands-on table service and support special event meal service. In this role, you will be responsible for providing personalized dining service to assigned tables, taking accurate orders, recommending menu options, and delivering food and beverages in a timely, professional manner. Attention to detail is paramount as you ensure meals are served at the correct temperature with appropriate presentation. You will also prepare and set up the dining room to ensure all flatware, condiments, and beverages are readily available. Additionally, participation in special events and celebrations is a key component of this position, requiring flexibility and a team-oriented spirit. Maintaining cleanliness of the dining area and attending to guest needs throughout each meal are also vital functions of the role.
