Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Previous experience as restaurant server or similar role preferred but not required
  • Ability to stand and maintain fast-paced mobility for up to four hours
  • Must have good balance and ability to bend, kneel, lift, and bus pans and trays frequently weighing up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to communicate verbally and perform basic math
  • Ability to follow Applebee's Ten Basic Service Steps and point-of-sale system operations

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to wipe down tabletops, table legs, clean debris, and booth seats
  • Ability to transport plates, glasses, and baskets multiple times per shift
  • Reading, writing, basic math, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to maintain mobility throughout entire shift
  • Capability to transport glass racks and cases weighing up to 25 pounds

Job Duties

  • Deliver food and drinks to guests using team delivery system
  • Greet guests and answer questions with friendly interaction
  • Make menu suggestions regarding food, drinks, and service
  • Relay orders accurately to service bar and kitchen through point-of-sale system
  • Observe guests and respond promptly to additional requests
  • Present guest checks and handle payments correctly
  • Participate in clearing and resetting dining room tables
