The current hiring opportunity is for a part-time Dining Room Server at the Belmont Village Senior Living community, specifically available on Fridays and Saturdays from 6:00am to 2:00pm. This role is crucial in ensuring a welcoming and exceptional dining experience for the residents. As a Dining Room Server, the successful candidate will work closely with the Dining Room Coordinator and fellow servers to provide hands-on table service during regular meal service as well as special events within the assisted living community. The role demands a reliable, personable individual who takes pride in their work and can demonstrate empathy toward the senior residents. It requires an ability to thrive in a fast-paced and physically active environment, while maintaining a collaborative team spirit and a growth mindset focused on delivering outstanding hospitality.

The responsibilities include providing attentive and personalized service to assigned tables in the on-site restaurant, accurately taking orders, offering menu recommendations, delivering food and beverages promptly and professionally, and ensuring meals are served with proper presentation and at the correct temperature. The role also involves preparing and setting up the dining room before service to guarantee availability of flatware, condiments, and beverages, assisting with special event meal services, and maintaining cleanliness of the dining area and tables throughout each meal. This position also values consistent attendance and the ability to multitask effectively while engaging actively with residents and team members alike.
