The role of Dining Room Server at Belmont Village Senior Living is vital to ensuring a welcoming and exceptional dining experience for residents at their Assisted Living community locations. This position can be full-time, with shifts from 11:00am to 7:30pm, or part-time, from 4:00pm to 8:00pm, providing flexibility for candidates. As a Dining Room Server, you will be an essential part of the team responsible for delivering personalized, attentive table service during meals and special events. Working closely with the Dining Room Coordinator and fellow servers, you will manage assigned tables efficiently, taking orders, offering menu suggestions, and serving food and beverages with accuracy and care.

Job Requirements

Must be at least 16 years of age
Must be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English
Must be able to work evenings weekends and holidays as needed
Must be able to efficiently multi-task be an active listener and collaborate effectively with team members
Demonstrates a willingness to learn and work in a hands-on hospitality oriented position
Knowledge of dining etiquette and prior restaurant server experience is preferred
Consistent and reliable attendance is essential for all Belmont Village employees to ensure the successful operation of the community

Job Duties

Provide attentive and personalized dining service to a group of assigned tables in our on-site restaurant ensuring a positive dining experience
Take accurate orders offer menu recommendations and deliver food and beverages in a timely and professional manner
Ensure orders are served at the correct temperature with proper presentation and accuracy
Prepare and set up the dining room for service ensuring flatware condiments and beverages are always ready
Assist with meal service at special events and celebrations held within the Belmont Village community
Maintain cleanliness of dining room and assigned tables ensuring guest needs are met throughout each meal
