The Server role at our establishment is integral to the overall guest experience. Serving as the face of our restaurant, the Server is responsible for taking food and beverage orders, delivering these items promptly and accurately, and maintaining a clean and organized service area in a fast-paced environment. This position requires a dedication to superior guest service, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure a seamless dining experience. The Server will greet guests warmly and courteously, clearly communicating daily specials and restaurant promotions to enhance guest awareness and satisfaction.
In this role, precise attention to detail and strong multitasking capabilities are essential, as the Server handles order entry using a Point of Sale system, confirms order accuracy, and consistently checks in with guests to ascertain their satisfaction throughout the meal. Compliance with all state and federal regulations, especially those concerning the serving of alcoholic beverages, is mandatory. The Server must be knowledgeable about menu and bar items to confidently make recommendations and employ suggestive selling techniques that enhance guest dining experiences.
The Server position offers competitive wages ranging from $2.13 to $20.00 per hour, depending on experience and tips. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be authorized to work in the USA and proper documentation
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Obtain any necessary licensing or permits
- Ability to stand on feet for an extended period of time
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work in a fast pace environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be authorized to work in the USA and proper documentation
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Obtain any necessary licensing or permits
- Preferred minimum of 1 year of experience operating at a full service restaurant
- Ability to stand on feet for an extended period of time
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work in a fast pace environment
- Excellent customer service skills with strong ability to interact with guests
- Verbal communication skills, and accurate math and cash handling skills
Job Duties
- Service of food and/or beverage to include the order-taking, delivery and clearing of any food and/or beverage items
- Checks station before, during and after shift for proper set-up and cleanliness
- Greets the guests in a friendly and courteous manner and explain any specials and/or restaurant promotions for guest awareness
- Takes the order and inputs the order into the Point of Sale computer to inform the kitchen of the particulars of the order
- Retrieves order from kitchen, confirms its accuracy and delivers it to guests
- Ascertain guest satisfaction throughout the meal service
- Abide by all state, federal regulations and restaurant liquor policies pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests
