Century Park Associates has earned a reputation for putting people first, ensuring that every interaction reflects excellence, respect, and outstanding service. The organization fosters an environment where associates and residents alike are valued and supported in their growth, learning, and contributions. Commitment to these values is evident in the work culture, which encourages employees to go beyond their job descriptions to deliver exemplary care and service. The organization offers a collaborative and supportive atmosphere in which employees can find professional satisfaction and make a positive impact on the lives of seniors they serve.
The Server position at Century Park Associates is an integral role within the dining services team. Starting at $16 per hour, this role is part-time or full-time with a requirement for weekend and evening availability to cater to the dining needs of the senior community. The server delivers restaurant-style dining services with a strong hospitality focus, adhering to industry standards, laws, and Century Park’s own high standards. Reporting to the Dining Services Director or Dining Room Supervisor, the server is not only responsible for excellent customer service but also for maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming dining environment for residents and visitors.
As a lead server, the individual is also entrusted with training and guiding new servers, ensuring that all team members meet the company’s standards. The role requires active participation in meal preparation meetings, assistance with meal counts and ticket management, and collaboration with other dining room staff to set up and maintain the dining area effectively. Servers assist residents with food selections and provide timely beverage refills, ensuring a comfortable and satisfying dining experience. The job involves performing cleaning and prep duties after meals, managing dish removal, laundry of linens, and overall upkeep of the dining space to ensure it is safe, clean, and aesthetically pleasing. The role demands a customer-oriented approach combined with operational efficiency and strict adherence to hygiene and safety regulations.
Furthermore, candidates must have a passion for working with seniors, demonstrate strong customer service skills, and maintain a professional demeanor that reflects the company’s code of ethics. The server must be dependable, able to work independently with minimal supervision, and capable of handling complaints with grace. Proper attire, grooming, and commitment to ongoing training, including the ServSafe food safety program, are mandatory. This role offers the chance to be part of a team that values kindness, integrity, and the deep satisfaction of improving the lives of elderly residents through excellent dining services. Century Park Associates provides a supportive atmosphere that rewards going the extra mile with both personal fulfillment and professional growth.
