The role of Server at Red Lobster is vital to delivering outstanding customer service and enhancing the dining experience for guests. A Server must accurately take and enter food and beverage orders using the POS system, ensuring orders are fulfilled promptly and correctly. Attentiveness through the entire meal involves checking in with guests regularly, providing refills, and clearing tables efficiently, all while maintaining proper food safety standards. Delivering the check promptly and graciously thanking guests encourages repeat business and fosters a hospitable environment. Servers must be physically capable of performing tasks such as bending, reaching, stooping, and lifting up to 30 pounds safely, as well as enduring standing and moving throughout an 8 to 12-hour shift. Success in this role requires strong teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Job Requirements

  • Must meet the minimum age requirement and authorized to work in the country you are applying
  • Ability to bend, reach, stoop and lift up to 30 pounds safely
  • Ability to move about the restaurant and remain standing for an 8 to 12 hour shift
  • Team player with attention to detail and ability to multi-task

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a customer service or restaurant role preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions
  • Team player with a positive attitude
  • Attention to detail

Job Duties

  • Welcoming guests and greeting every guest with a smile when they are seated
  • Suggestively selling drinks, appetizers, and desserts
  • Accurately taking food and drink orders and entering orders into the POS system properly
  • Picking up and delivering food orders in a timely manner
  • Checking back with guests throughout the experience to provide refills as needed and clearing any items from the table
  • Delivering and settling the check in a timely manner, thanking guests and inviting them to return
  • Following all food safety standards
