Known for their commitment to excellence and hospitality, The Brigantine emphasizes a team approach where open communication, guest-centered focus, and partnership lead to successful operations and memorable guest experiences. The company's mission is encapsulated by their core value: Every Guest Leaves Happy. This mission drives their culture and fosters an environment that supports both their guests and employees, making it a place where team members can thrive while delivering exceptional service.
The role of a Server at The Brigantine is crucial for delivering outstanding hospitality and service to guests dining in the restaurant. Servers are the front-line ambassadors of the brand, responsible not only for taking orders and serving food and drinks but also for ensuring the safety and cleanliness of the dining and employee areas. The hourly wage for the Server position ranges from $15.50 to $16.30, supplemented by tips, reflecting the value of excellent service in a fast-paced environment. Additional benefits include paid sick leave, a flexible schedule to accommodate work-life balance, discounts on meals, and opportunities for career advancement within the company.
In this role, Servers play an integral part in creating an inviting and enjoyable dining experience by anticipating guests' needs, exceeding their expectations, and maintaining high standards of sanitation and safety. They need to show deep knowledge and enthusiasm about the menu to engage customers effectively, answer questions, and provide recommendations. The Server is also responsible for promptly responding to guest needs with professionalism and urgency, ensuring every guest enjoys their visit. Maintaining organized service stations and performing routine side duties during shifts contribute to the smooth functioning of the restaurant. The role demands a balance of interpersonal skills, attentiveness, physical stamina, and the ability to uphold the restaurant’s safety standards including alcohol beverage control policies.
Overall, this position is ideal for individuals with a passion for hospitality, team-oriented mindset, and the desire to grow within a dynamic restaurant group that values service excellence and employee well-being.
