As a Server at Red Lobster, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional guest service. This role involves greeting guests warmly, guiding them through the menu, and thoughtfully suggesting drinks, appetizers, and desserts to enhance their dining experience. Accuracy is essential, so taking and entering food and drink orders correctly into the POS system is a key duty. Efficient service includes timely pickup and delivery of orders, consistent guest check-ins throughout their meal, and handling payment transactions smoothly. Job Requirements

  • Must meet the minimum age requirement and authorized to work in the country you are applying
  • Ability to bend, reach, stoop and lift up to 30 pounds safely
  • Ability to move about the restaurant and remain standing for an 8 - 12 hour shift
  • Team player with attention to detail and ability to multi-task
  • Willingness to provide excellent customer service
  • Commitment to following all food safety regulations

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in a server or customer service role is beneficial
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Team player with multitasking abilities
  • Basic knowledge of food safety practices
  • Positive attitude and commitment to customer satisfaction

Job Duties

  • Welcoming guests and greeting every guest with a smile when they are seated
  • Suggestively selling drinks, appetizers, and desserts
  • Accurately taking food and drink orders and entering orders into the POS system properly
  • Picking up and delivering food orders in a timely manner
  • Checking back with guests throughout the experience to provide refills as needed and clearing any items from the table
  • Delivering and settling the check in a timely manner, thanking guests and inviting them to return
  • Following all food safety standards
