Job Description

Arrow Senior Living is a distinguished provider of senior living services committed to enriching the lives of older adults through compassionate care and a supportive community environment. With a mission to foster an atmosphere that feels warm and home-like, not only for residents but also for team members, Arrow Senior Living prides itself on its dedication to quality of life improvements and employee growth opportunities. The company stands out in the healthcare and senior living sector for emphasizing core values that are deeply embedded in daily operations. Employees at Arrow Senior Living experience a culture focused on respect, compassion, and professional development, with many finding long-term career satisfaction and strong bonds with colleagues. This partly stems from its philosophy to promote from within and offer comprehensive incentives and benefits that prioritize both resident satisfaction and employee well-being.

The Server position at Vitalia Mentor, located in Mentor, Ohio, offers a part-time opportunity for individuals passionate about making an impact in a senior living community. The pay range for this role is $15 to $23 per hour, reflecting the company’s commitment to rewarding dedicated staff. The shift schedule includes working Monday, Tuesday, and Sunday evenings from 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm, providing flexibility for candidates who may be balancing other responsibilities. This role involves direct interaction with residents, making it an essential part of fostering a welcoming, engaging dining experience. As a server, you not only deliver meals but act as a social ambassador, creating an atmosphere where residents feel valued and connected.

In this dynamic role, the server is expected to adopt multiple facets: as a 'Host with the Most,' greeting residents warmly and ensuring they feel welcomed and comfortable; as a 'Peppy Prepper,' preparing dining areas and meal components efficiently; and as a 'Titan of Tidiness,' maintaining cleanliness by bussing tables and upkeep of the dining room. The role also requires attentiveness to residents' eating habits, communicating any concerns to supervisors or wellness staff to ensure the best care. Physical activity is a significant aspect of this job, involving standing, walking, bending, and occasional lifting up to 50 pounds, highlighting the need for an energetic and proactive candidate. Arrow Senior Living is looking for positive, energetic individuals who value resident care and community connection, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and communication skills. The environment supports personal growth and offers a tightly knit team culture, making this much more than just a job but a fulfilling career path.
