Job Requirements
- At least sixteen years of age
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English
- Positive and energetic attitude
- Physically able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop all day
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds
- Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, walking, and post-fall support
- Must be criminally cleared
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least sixteen years of age
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency
- Positive and energetic attitude
- Experience in a hospitality or senior care environment preferred
- Ability to work part-time evenings Monday through Thursday and Sunday
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with seniors
- Capable of standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping during shifts
Job Duties
- Greet residents and make them feel welcome
- Be present in the dining room to mingle and entertain
- Prepare tables and salads for meal service
- Roll silverware and ensure readiness for meals
- Buss tables and sweep floors to maintain cleanliness
- Communicate with supervisors and Wellness about residents’ dietary habits and meal attendance
- Assist residents with sitting, standing, walking, and provide help after a fall
